The Way Forward — Wooohoo, Let’s Go!

The website is up. It’s bare bones right now — a single page with a tagline and the promise of things to come. That’s fine. We’re not here to win a design award; we’re here to build something that actually works, which is the real flex.

Right now, attention shifts to infrastructure. We’re designing distributed clients that will run on borrowed compute — your laptop, a Raspberry Pi in the garage, whatever’s sitting idle. These clients will train models locally and send back their best ideas, like chromosomes in a genetic algorithm. A central processor will aggregate the most promising approaches and redistribute them across the network, creating a kind of evolutionary arms race for alpha.

Next comes implementation: writing both the clients and the processor in something that doesn’t require a PhD to compile. The code will be open, the architecture documented, and the whole thing designed so you can run it without needing to mortgage your house for cloud credits.
